In the Science Year 2023 – Our Universe, science, politics, and society will take a look from Earth into space from a variety of perspectives ... and back again. From exhibitions to school campaigns to hands-on activities: the Science Year 2023 invites young and old to join an exciting exchange with science and research.
The Science Year 2023 will look at ancient human questions about meaning and existence as well as current scientific findings in space research and its ancillary disciplines in the humanities and natural sciences. In multi-layered perspectives, an arc is thus created from the beginnings of the universe to the most pressing issues of our time, such as climate change, environmental protection, or the development of new energy sources. Across disciplines and with the cooperation of various research areas, the Sciences Year 2023 will shed light on important topics related to outer space.
